About Us

Maïtèna grew up on a vineyard and Ewan appreciates wine so it was only natural that they became involved in the wine industry. On completing their degrees and after working for some of the largest wineries in the country they decided to strike out on their own and produce quality wines. Phaedrus Estate was established.

Phaedrus Estate is 4 Hectares on the Mornington Penisula growing 4 varieties of grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Pinot Gris. In 2008 Phaedrus produced 3000 cases of excellent wine.
